As an award-winning educator, international entertainer, and author, Sarahndipity delights in crafting programs designed to inspire and enthuse. While obtaining her Masters in Education, a fire lit within her inspiring the Animals Get Funky series, albums, videos, curriculum, and playful live events. Whether she’s spinning fire as a Pirate in the Caribbean or dancing with Beats Antique, Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, Joe Cocker or funky kids, Sarahndipity loves to weave tales of delight. She feels grateful to honor her compassionate heart through service.
Judy has a long history of non-profit and fundraising work. She has been part of United Way, the University of Colorado, KAFM Community Radio, as well as other grass-roots projects. With a lifelong love and study of writing, combined with a passion for helping others, she pursues opportunities to seek grants for organizations in her community. She currently works for Colorado State University's College of Agriculture in a finance and human resources role. This experience gives her great insight on funding stewardship, accountability and resourcefulness.
After completing undergraduate at Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York, LauraElena pursued her graduate studies at Long Island University. Once completing her Master's Degree in teaching English language learners, she taught elementary school in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She also spent time teaching elementary and high school students in Colombia, Denver public schools, and in Greeley public schools. A move to the Western Slope of Colorado resulted in pursuing her K-12 administrative license at Colorado Mesa University. She spent two years teaching elementary in Grand Junction public schools and has now begun her administrative journey there as well.
Catrina Lee is a retired high school English and Special Education teacher who lives in Boulder, Colorado. She is the author of multiple works including Birdseed: A Guide to Teaching Emotional Intelligence in the Primary and Secondary Classroom, which is endorsed by The CO Department of Education and Positive Psychology guru Shawn Achor.
In addition to creating innovative teaching tools, she writes inspirational fiction for children and personal-development material for adults.
Catrina considers herself an ever-aspiring artist and ever-evolving student of life.
Megan King has a Bachelor’s degree from UW-Stout in Art Education K-12. She taught Middle School and Elementary Art in the public school setting for 6 years. Focused on integrating her art curriculum with diversity, self-exploration,
expression, and multidisciplinary lessons, Megan loved teaching art. She enjoyed watching children grow through the art of expression with different art mediums and movement. Megan King is now a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist in Colorado and Nationally Board Certified with a Diplomate in Chinese Medicine. She earned her
Masters Degree at the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2010 and has been practicing in Colorado ever since.
When Megan is not doing her heart’s work, you can find her in the woods or on the water.
Mary lovingly add her heartfelt touches by editing our publications. Her love for editing began during her years as a writing professor for Manhattanville College, both as an undergraduate professor in academic writing and as the professor of thesis writing and business plans in their Graduate Program. Mary's passion for connecting creativity with education was birthed while obtaining her M.Ed., and has been a guiding light in all of her education edeavors as she has traveled and taught all over the country. Mary now resides in her hometown where she has returned to raise her beautiful three daughters and continue her teaching career as a Special Education Teacher. .
Marco is a 40 year education veteran having served in California, Oregon, and Pennsylvania schools. He was a teacher and coach in Theater Arts, Public Speaking, English, Debate, ESL, swimming, water polo, and Media Arts. His students ranged from 4th grade to adults. He earned his Masters in Educational Administration and served as an activities director, assistant principal, and principal in various educational institutions. Holistic Education has always been at the forefront of his experiences. In 2012 he started his new passion in film and video. He has worked with numerous non-profits such as Make-A-Wish and Hospice creating promotional videos. In 2017 he created his first full-feature documentary film RUN WITH YOUR HEART, which captured the Spring season of Girls on the Run in Lancaster, PA. In 2019 he ventured to Southeast Asia and chronicled his adventures and service opportunities with Marco Explores on YouTube. His continuing mission has always been to serve others.
